Connecting to Ostium

  1. Open Ostium app and click on the "connect" button.

  1. Choose how you want to connect with Ostium app. You can connect to Ostium in two different ways, depending on your experience and preferences:

  • A. Web3 Wallet (Recommended for Web3-Native Users): Connect using your Arbitrum-compatible wallet, such as MetaMask, Rabby, or any other wallet provider you prefer. This option is ideal for users familiar with Web3 concepts and comfortable managing things like gas fees (e.g., using ETH to cover transaction costs). You’ll have full control over your wallet and interactions on-chain.

  • B. Email (Recommended for CEX Users or Web3 Beginners): Log in with your email to create a smart account, managed by you but with a more user-friendly experience. This method is perfect for users coming from centralized exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, or Bybit, who may not be familiar with Web3. No need to worry about gas fees — transactions are abstracted away and handled for you. Email verification is required. This login method is powered by Privy.

Smart account sucessfully created

You can see the account address under the profile. The smart accounts use USDC to pay for withdrawal transactions' gas fee. We decrease the available USDC in 2 units to ensure users can withdraw their assets anytime.

You should ONLY send Arbitrum USDC to your smart account address. If you send any other asset, we may be unable to recover it.
